The Las Vegas Philharmonic's final performance of the season will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 8:00 p.m. The show, entitled Celestial Bodies, will feature HD images from space during the performance of Holt's piece the Planets.
The concert will open with Motzart's Symphony No. 31 and Wagner's Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde. Both pieces will be conducted by David Lockington. The presentation of The Planets will take up the entire second half of the concert.
The performance will be held in the Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center. Tickets are on sale at The Smith Center Box Office and are priced from $46 to $96. The Las Vegas Philharmonic offers a 50% discount to students with a valid I.D. and also offers group discounts.

United We Stand

It goes without saying that our hearts and prayers are with all of those affected by the senseless tragedy yesterday in Massachusetts during the Boston Marathon.
We were relieved to hear that no one from our Fitness Together or Elements families who participated in the event was injured. For those who were affected in any way, we ask that you join us in pausing for a moment to honor them.
It is times like these that bind us together and bring out the best in each of us. We saw this quality with many of the first responders, both those trained to do so and the brave bystanders who rushed into the chaos to help in any way possible.
The Human Spirit is a wonderful thing and we salute those who best exemplify its meaning.

The performance, entitled Masterworks V Celestial Bodies, will feature Gustav Holst's 1916 score The Planets. In addition to a great selection of music, the show will include high-definition images of our solar system.
Attendants of Masterworks V Celestial Bodies will receive an exclusive discount on their next massage session in the month of May. Bring your ticket stub the day of your appointment and you will receive an additional $10 off your massage!

Danny Wright Foundation Closure
On behalf of The Danny Wright Foundation of Music, I want to thank all those who supported and gave to our program their talents and hard work. Due to unforseen circumstances and life taking us all in different directions, The Danny Wright Foundation is no longer in operation. Sun City Anthem Fashion Show
On April 12th, 2013, the Sun City Anthem Women's Group had a fashion show fundraiser at the M Casino. It was hosted by Kelly Clinton Holms who also performed with Mike Clark on piano. The theme was New York State of Mind. Elements was happy to donate a lovely gift box made just for the occation. The group raised $6,000 for Senior Day Care.
